2007 YWPA Scholarship Recipient: Kay Yaeger
Zonta International believes young women are the key to women's advancement in
the field of public service. The Young Women in Public Affairs (YWPA) Awards
enourage young women who have demonstrated leadership skills and interest in
civic causes to continue pursuing their dreams.
Since 1990, the Zonta International Young Women in Public Affairs (YWPA) Program
has encouraged more young women to participate in public and political life by
recognizing a commitment to the volunteer sector, evidence of volunteer leadership
achievements and a dedication to the advancement of the status of women.
